Self-Cleaning Cartridge Dust Collector Uses Pleated Filter Cartridges

ULTRA-FLOW™ Cartridge dust collector, also referred to as pleated filter or pleated bag collector, are best suited for light dust loads of fine dust or powder, such as found in powder coating, welding fumes and some grinding applications.

Advanced Technology means:

- Increased Efficiency through revolutionary “high-ratio” design.

Promotes a uniform and stable filtering cake on the filter media.
- Lower Operating Cost; The Hi-Tech cleaning system reduces

   compressed air consumption 30-50%.
- Filter life is increased 3-10 times over contemporary designs.
- 30-40% lower fan/blower operating power from lower pressure

   drop through the collector
- Lower Initial Cost; smaller collector, less filters, less cleaning

   hardware.
- 15+ years of proven technology.
- Ceiling-Hung models are also available.

QAM also offers in-line spark arrestor and duct cleaner - flow booster to prevent fires and explosions.

Features that Make the Difference

... high side inlets. This eliminates “can” velocity which hangs dust up in the collector and dust dumping directly onto cartridges.

... integral drop-out chamber...heavy and impulsive dust load drops directly to the hopper. The rest of the lighter dust is filtered by the by the cartridges.

A computer designed hi-tech accelerating nozzle assembly...forms a perfect cleaning jet, sealing the top of the cartridges, and produces 3.6 times more HP of energy to power the cleaning jet. Compressed air consumption is lowered by up to 40%.

...high efficiency cleaning system requires 1/2 the number of cartridges compared to conventional designs.

Diaphragm valves ... at 125% of required flow, to ensure 100% cleaning of the cartridges.

The cartridges are pulsed in vertical rows ... prevents entrainment from the upper to lower cartridges.

Thousands of successful installations in woodworking, welding fumes, grinding, carbon, plastics, pharmaceutical, sawdust, sugar and paper dust applications.
