The "WM" series mist collector is a design which specifically
overcomes the issues presented by water-based machining coolants.
Instead of an intricate path through a deep bed of fibers, the
intricate path is formed by a deep liquid bed, which is 6 to
10 inches high. The liquid is constantly renewed by adding water
to the mixture. By using a continuous wash down system and liquid
fluidized bed advanced technology, we prevent the evaporation
of the coolant and eliminate the formation of any gummy substance.
This makes the "WM" series mist collector totally non-clogging
and maintenance free. It can collect the solids and liquids
individually or in combination that are emitted from any machining
operation. Its fluidized bed can be modified to accept any type
of liquid machining fluid. HEPA after filters are also available
but rarely needed.
